The "Walking on Sunshine" series expresses the extreme joy I feel bringing the beauty of flowers into my home. In the deep summer months in Arizona, life outside fades and the environment turns to shades of beige. The heat is so unbearable that nobody ventures outside, so bringing in flowers adds life to the space.
This series was influenced by floral arrangements I purchased from my local grocery store. Through these still lives, I wanted to express my love for nature—even if I had to bring it inside.
